Having lived and worked in the Roseville area for many years, we felt there was a void that needed to be filled in our community. There seemed to be a lack of fun and unique establishments with an elevated atmosphere, where adults could get away for a night to relax with friends and enjoy a great glass of wine. A place that wasn’t a chain restaurant, or a dive bar, but rather a place that was locally owned and operated. This place needed a fantastic, hand-selected wine list accompanied by decadent, small plates and amazing charcuterie boards. A place with good live music, and wines that have soul. A place like this in Roseville simply did not exist yet, so we decided to open one! What began as a fun conversation between two long-time friends who shared a love for great wine and a passion for serving people, quickly became a real business concept. Proving to us that we were two inherently savvy business partners. After discussing the need for a new, relaxing wine bar that we would both soon call our second home, we thought, ‘With all the awesome local craft breweries, why would you ever need to pour big national brands?’ It turns out that we don’t! Thus, our locally crafted beer list was created in addition to our unique wine selection.
